9-11 July 2027.
Moseley Park, Birmingham

We know you’re all just as excited as we are for Mostly Jazz this weekend, so here are some answers to your most asked questions..

Are you screening the football?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have permission to screen England v Norway at the festival.

There are plenty of pubs around that will have space to watch the football, though, if you’d like to watch somewhere local afterwards.

If any of this changes, we will issue an update on our socials!

What plans do you have in place for the hot weather?

We are aware that this weekend in Moseley Park is set to be a scorcher! We are regularly monitoring the weather and taking advice from our Health & Safety team. We have put the following measures in place to keep everyone safe and hydrated throughout the weekend:

  • We have added extra marquee cover over at the Leftfoot Stage in our Off Piste meadow to provide ample shade.
  • The Woods area, near the festival entrance, provides a shaded space with family activities.
  • We have doubled the number of water refill points, along with manning these areas to support with queues. You can also get sugar-free squash for children for free at these points.
  • For those who prefer not to drink Birmingham’s famously fresh tap water from the Elan Valley in Wales, cans of water are available to purchase at all bars.

To bring:

  • Please bring an empty non-single-use container to use throughout the day to keep yourself hydrated.
  • In light of the hot weather, attendees are permitted to bring unopened, sealed containers of water and soft drinks into the festival with them. Please be prepared for your bags to be searched and to take any single-use plastic waste home with you to be recycled. Any liquids in opened containers will be binned. Strictly no alcohol or low-alcohol is to be brought into the festival.
  • Please bring appropriate clothing, hats and suncream with you.
  • Keep hydrated, remember to take breaks in the shaded areas provided and stay safe – if you’re feeling unwell at any time, please visit our Medic Station near the Tennis Courts.

Equally, keep an eye on your friends, family and other festival goers. If you feel someone may be suffering from heat exposure, please inform one of our Event Stewards.

Can I come and go?

Once you’re inside the festival, there is no re-entry. This is to keep everyone safe and keep the queues at the doors as short as possible!

Do you have festival maps?

Yes! Please see below:

What should I bring?

We would recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes (loose and cool for sun, a raincoat for rain), a form of ID and a picnic blanket.

What shouldn’t I bring?

Please don’t bring any single-use plastic, glass, sharp cutlery, dogs (unless they are a Guide Dog!), gazebos or professional camera equipment.

I can’t find my tickets!

Tickets will have been emailed to you. If you can’t find them, please head to the Kaboodle login page, and you can easily log in to (or set up) your account and find your tickets from there! Please ensure you have your tickets to hand when entering the festival, as not having these ready will delay you!

How do I get to the festival?

We highly recommend using public transport to access Mostly Jazz, as parking is extremely limited in the local area.

The Number 50 National Express bus service runs to and from Birmingham City Centre and drops you off right outside Moseley Park!

Coming from further afield? Birmingham’s Grand Central Train Station and Coach Station link to locations across the UK, plus, the Number 50 bus stops just a short walk from both hubs.

Onsite, we have a free bike rack, which is accessible by the park entrance.

Staying over? Team MJFS have secured an exclusive offer for festival attendees! Book a room through The Clayton Hotel website and get 20% off their best available rate when using code MFJ20.

Find more information on our travel page.

What access facilities do you have onsite?

We have an accessible viewing platform, accessible bathrooms and our friendly stewards will be able to assist if you need a queue jump pass or exit pass from the festival. Please bring evidence of your access needs to the festival with you – ideally a Nimbus Access Card, but this evidence can be digital if you don’t want to bring your original documents! We will never question your access needs. For more information, please visit our dedicated accessibility page.

Can I pay with cash?

Mostly Jazz is a fully cashless festival, meaning all payments must be made on card. This is to make everyone’s experience smooth and swift (so you have more time to enjoy the festival!). Card, Apple Pay & Google Pay are accepted by all vendors.

Can I bring a chair?

Yes! Both folding chairs and picnic blankets can be brought in. We ask that chairs be used only in the designated areas, so everyone can get a great view. Please ask a steward for guidance.
